[LOG: First Meetings]

Characters: Takaki Yuya, Kim Jae Wook
Location and date:  er... coffee shop then so on/present
Rating: PG
Warning: Awkwardness
Summary: First meeting between the two.

JaeWook had ended up in his regular coffee shop once again. He had just finished with a client whose name tasted awful so he had decided to stay in his cozy corner sketching and observing people. He seemed to do this often because by now the owner recognized his face. The owner was a nice mid-aged man who always looked out for JaeWook. Although JaeWook had no idea why. It didn't seem as if he needed protecting of any kind. JaeWook didn't really mind, the owner's name tasted like caramel macchiatos.

Because he was only involved in freelance work currently JaeWook had a lot of time on his hands. Sure he had pleasant working hours, but he was getting bored. He sat with his chin leaning precariously in the hand of a propped up elbow and lazily drew elaborate patterns in his moleskin sketchbook.

Yuya breezed into his favorite coffee shop, haughtily ignoring the open stares. Yes, he was used to it. And what did it matter? Didn't all these guys know what a hooker looked like? Dressed in tight dark jeans, a tight pink shirt, and a trenchcoat style jacket. His eyeliner was black with a streak of purple. 'Yuki''s presence was icy.

He ordered his favorite latte and then looked around, trying to find an empty table. He didn't particularly feel like socializing. He hadn't had his coffee yet so he was a little snappish.
The shop was strangely packed today. JaeWook blinked his eyes tiredly. He slid back in his seat and rested his chin atop the table. People around him seemed to be focused on something, someone? He waited for the a woman with dark sienna hair to move out of his view. Oh, now he understood why there had been such a flutter of noise. He watched the guy with wide curious eyes through his black rimmed spectacles. He had never seen anyone like him.

The guy had a very cloudy bright aura. He would definitely have a sweet tasting voice. JaeWook would have liked to taste the guy speak, but he wasn't all too proactive in meeting new people.
So Yuya had finally spotted an empty table and began gliding towards it, that is, until some jerk grabbed his butt. "Hey, need a seat, baby?" The offending man gave him an animalistic smile. "My lap's free~"

Yuya turned and gave the idiot a sweet, completely icy and poisonous smile "Do I look like your bitch?" He asked, voice quiet and cold. "I think not~"

He turned and found a cute, slightly geeky man watching. Find, this would be safe enough, right? He flounced over and sat opposite the man, earring jingling softly "Hi, you're my new best friend" He purred, smiling at the man. If he sat alone, the guy would just bother him. So this guy would hopefully be a deterrent.
JaeWook chewed on his lower lip as he watched the unpleasant event. Some people were so obnoxious. He had been right though, about the boy's voice. It tasted kind of like strawberry ice-cream.

He was very surprised when the boy sat himself down across the table. He sat up and nodded slowly. Best friend? He was joking right? JaeWook wouldn't know because he had never really made friends before and he was a bit naive. He decided that it would be rude not to give the boy a greeting of some sort. His voice was low and soft and very quiet. He wasn't really sure if the boy would hear him.

"Uhm......hrm... Hello. .... Did you know? Your voice tastes like strawberry ice-cream...."
Yuya was relieved that the guy didn't seem to want to kick him out of the chair. "Thanks~ I didn't really wanna deal with the bozo over there" The boy flicked his fingers dismissively at the jerk he'd been dealing with.

Takaki tilted his head, straining to hear the man's quiet voice. Strawberry ice-cream? His voice tasted like ice cream? Tasted? Okay, this was just a little strange...but the man seemed nice enough.

"It does?" He grinned just a little "You're the first person to say that it's my voice that tastes like strawberry ice cream." They were usually referring to some part of Yuya's body when commenting on taste.
JaeWook nodded in understanding. He had been in plenty of undesirable situations. It felt strange to be spoken to so much from a person who wasn't a client. It was enjoyable, far better then the person he had to talk to earlier that day.

His face flushed slightly in embarrassment. He hadn't really meant for his awkwardness to come out so quickly, but he tried his best to keep the conversation going. Hopefully this wonderful boy didn't think he was a freak like everyone else did.

"Yes. It does~" He twiddled nervously with his pencil and asked innocently. "What else would taste like strawberry ice-cream other than your voice?"
Yuya nearly choked on the sip of coffee as JaeWook's question came out. He began coughing, covering his mouth with a napkin while staring at the man when he could.

Did he really just ask that? What did he think Yuya meant?! Didn't the guy get that he was a hooker?
JaeWook frowned softly, had he said something wrong? Oh dear, perhaps he was strange to the boy after all. JaeWook was very concerned and became increasingly self-conscious. He rubbed the heel of his boot awkwardly against the floor and gripped tightly at his pencil.

"Uhm... are you okay?"
Nodding a bit, Yuya daintily wiped his mouth "I'm fine" The brunette muttered, annoyed at umcomposed he'd become.

He settled back down and sipped the latte again "I just...wasn't expecting that question" He said.
Oh so it really had been his fault. He leaned backwards and his shoulders lifted anxiously.

"I"m sorry....why weren't you expecting that question?"

At first he had thought the boy had been a nine, but he noticed that after talking for just a few minutes people can change. Now it seemed that the boy was a four instead.
Yuya waved his hand "Don't worry about it" He said, again a little cold and dismissive. It was just how he was used to acting.

"Though...it's kinda of nice to know that there are still a few innocent people in the hell-hole" He mused thoughtfully, toying with the lid of his cup and gazing out the window.
JaeWook folded his hands in between his knees and nodded.

"I'm sorry...."
JaeWook was rather fascinated by the boy's face, it was like...music. He concluded that he wanted to make friends with this boy. So he wondered...what do friends want to know about each other?

"Can I draw your face?"
Eyes widened in surprise again as Yuya watched the man. By now, Yuya had figured that the man across from him had a mental disorder or something. Good entertainment? 'Yuki' found himself laughing.

"You are a very interesting man" Yuya purred, the small smile on his face became much more playful "But first, I'm Yuki, nice to meet you~"
JaeWook cocked his head to the left with a questioning look on his face. Why was he laughing? Did people like to just burst out in laughter randomly? It was a very beautiful sight.

He smiled happily for the first time in what had been ages.
"Thank you~ It's nice to meet you too Yuki. Uhm....My name is JaeWook."

He wondered what Yuki thought his voice and name tasted like and felt concerned that it would taste terrible and he would run away. He waited anxiously for a reaction.
"JaeWook, then" Yuya said, perfectly pleasant. JaeWook seemed to be...mildly interesting and a possible customer? Well, maybe he was just bored. The brunette smiled at the man, daintily propping his chin on his palm.

"So....what's this about drawing?" He asked, curiosity coloring his voice.
JaeWook's eyes brightened at the mention of art. Although he was bad with people he was passionate about his career.

"Ah~ well I am an artist and I think you are a very beautiful person so I really would like to draw you.... If that's okay?"
Yuya returned the bright smile. Awkward, yes but not bad...sweet and innocent which was a wonderful change from the crime and the filth.

"Why not?" He said, sounding bright and chirpy "No one's ever wanted to draw me before~" Though people definitely thought he was wonderful eyecandy.
Yuki was probably the kindest person he had ever met, but then again JaeWook never really met people.

"Is now a good time? Or are you busy...?"
He was already flipping over to a new page, a pencil clutched ready to work in his hand.
He pushed his glasses up with his other hand. The black spectacles kept slipping down his nose.
Yuya gave another small shrug "I'm free for as long as you need~" He assured the other. "Just right here...or do you need to be somewhere else?"

"I'll confess to not having a clue about this sort of thing...My art lies...elsewhere in life" He said, trying to skirt around the subject of his employment since this guy didn't seem to know what a whore was.
JaeWook smiled brightly.
"Here is good." He began sketching an oval, line, line, line. Just the basic measurements.
"It would be nice if you were around everytime I needed a reference for anatomy...."
He trailed off lightly, concentrating on the drawing. He glanced up now and then peering over his glasses which were again slipping down his nose. But Yuki mentioned art again so he tuned in.

"You do art? What kind?"
JaeWook's naivety would probably get him in big trouble one day, but he would be the only one to not know.
Yuya sighed, his wish to avoid the outright admitting of this not being granted. But Yuya didn't lie (Okay, he lied a lot, but something was keeping him from wanting to lie right now).

"I'm a" He frowned and glanced at this completely innocent looking man "Do you even know what a prostitute is?" He asked bluntly.
JaeWook looked up at Yuki's face and blinked slowly. He paused before speaking. A prostitute? He had heard of prostitutes from his mother before...

"You're having an affair with someone's wife?"
Yuya gave another sigh and rolled his eyes "Yes and no" There was a regular customer of his who was married (and several other customers who were) but that was beside the point.

"Prostitutes are a little different" He explained, for whatever reason he was wasting his time on this "Prostitutes, or hookers, are people like me. We offer sex in return for some sort of compensation"
JaeWook chewed his lower lip thoughtfully.
"Oh.... I see. I always thought they were ladies who had affairs with women's husbands because that's what my mother called the Chinese lady that my father left us for....Hmm I never knew that....Thank you for telling me."
He smiled crookedly before returning to the drawing. Of course he had no problem with Yuki being a prostitute. It would be the boy's own choice, but....

"I hope you're not being hurt...or hurting others."
He mumbled softly under his breath.
Yuya caught the last part of JaeWook's comment and snorted derisively "What people do in their lives isn't a concern of mine" He said with a delicate eyebrow raised, contrasting with his slightly harsh tone "If sleeping with me equals cheating, then that's what it is. It's their problem, not mine"

He was indifferent to this. If he cared about that sort of thing, he wouldn't be a hooker, right? The brunette, while being the lowest of the low, still had some sort of pride, which showed in the way his body stiffened and the way he raised his elegant head.
